SECLEC provide Intruder Alarm Maintenance Contracts for all types of commercial systems and we regularly attend every type of premise: managed apartment blocks, retail units, office spaces, industrial units, warehouses, portacabins.

We are there for you in the event of an emergency, with our skilled technicians able to attend and get you up and running as quickly as possible to avoid your premises being left vulnerable and unprotected.

But we’re focused on preventing you from going through emergencies…
An Intruder Alarm Maintenance Plan will ensure that preventive maintenance service inspections are performed at regular intervals, in accordance with guidelines furnished by SSAIB (Security Systems & Alarm Inspection Board).

Such plans help to eliminate the possibility of unexpected costs and allowing you to stay focused on your core business.

Preventative Maintenance

To ensure that an Intruder Alarm system remains reliable, it is vital that it is maintained regularly.
Listed below are a selection of the checks that are carried out by our engineers during a routine preventative maintenance inspection / service visit:

  • Visual inspection of the system.

  • Check mains and battery power supply including charging rates (where applicable).

  • Check and clean all detection equipment: Motion Sensors, Door Contacts,

  • Vibration Sensors and Panic Attack Protection devices.

  • Check and clean all control equipment: Control Panel and Proximity Keypads.

  • Check and clean Internal Sounders and External Sounders (Bell Box).

  • Check functionality of Signalling Devices – whether PSTN or Radio Path.

  • Assessment of system in the light of changes of the premises use or structure.

  • Log all test results and report fully on findings.

  • Retrain the users on the use of the system (if required).

SECLEC are able to undertake an Intruder Alarm System Maintenance Contract for most types of system, regardless of who supplied or installed them. We listen carefully to your requirements and perhaps those of your insurers too – and then we can propose a schedule that meets your requirements and expectations, giving you peace of mind.

SECLEC can also repair and upgrade the majority of existing Intruder Alarm systems. If you would like to discuss the repair or upgrade of your existing system, please do not hesitate to contact us.
